Click to expand.According to Sandoval's book in which there is a section entitled Musician Index, Neil Young played at the following sessions and songs 5/3/68 Carlisle Wheeling (a Nez tune) version 4; You and I/That's what It's Like Loving You/Smile (Davy Jones compositions) 5/10/68 the aforementioned As We Go Along 5/30/68 You and I he is listed on both 6/19 and 6/21. Ry Cooder is only listed as a musician on the one track which was As We Go Along. The promo 45 for Cinnamon Girl On Reprise has a different vocal, with Danny and Neil switching parts. There’s an early pressing of Decade with the full version of Campaigner, with the “streaker” verse intact. There is another early pressing of Decade (my first copy, wish I still had it), that has a different mix (and vocal) of Like A Hurricane.
Original mix of Sample and Hold On Trans is I think only available on the 1982 vinyl LP. Subsequently replaced by an inferior mix.
The original kicks butt with Crazy Horse trying their best to keep up. Neil and Poncho guitars are just great. There's an outtake from the sessions for the This Note's For You album with The Bluenotes called 'I'm Goin' that was released on the flip side of the 'Ten Men Workin' single, but has never appeared anywhere else. A live version of the song was included on the archival live performance Bluenote Cafe album, but the studio version is still only available on that original 45. Despite searching for it periodically over the years, I've never even found a rip of the track online or on any bootleg. Since I can't play vinyl, I've had to go without it. I think it's one of the only (and perhaps THE only) Neil tracks that has escaped me thus far.

Think this show was originally shown on HBO. The band tackles a live version of the song as something Neil had just written.
