I have TomTom One I GB- No extra Memory Card3 Years old. Decided to update the map online for first time for a long time. Thought I had Backed Up the Device first 2.

Wanted to update Southern Europe (came with TomTom when I bought it) 3. Message - Free space as you do not have enough.

It shows that I have 500 mb loaded on the TomTom and gives me the option of deleting about 15 mb - ie not enough room to be able to load new Map 4. Doesn't Back Up. Tom Tom works but no map on it now!!!! The maps are now over 1GB each so not sure when I put in the model (TomTom One) that it didn't register that the Update would be no good. It says that the map is over 1 GB but I should put on another map but as there is still 500 mb still on the device I can not get anything else on. Can I delete the stuff on the device and try and start again? I just checked for you that Southern Europe V.8.65 is 771MB that should be able to fit in your internal storage.

What you can do is: 1. Back up your existing Map to your computer by either via TomTom Home or direct copy the Map folder to PC. Once you have a good backup, delete the Map folder from your device. Azure Case Studies Microsoft Security there.

Then check if you have more than 771MB available for the new Map. If you are just a little short of 771MB, you may want to delete some unused voice files from the voices folder on your device.
