I'm very new to using Homeport and also to using GPS (got a Garmin 441 and Homeport software two weeks ago). Neither the chartplotter. Port Marine Navigation Software on micro. SD/SD card (0. Hello from Cork, Ireland! I was a Mapsource user. I updated to Win10 and my Mapsource displayed an error when launching. I decided to try an installation of Homeport.

Firstly Homeport will always throw up a User Access Control (UAC) warning, even after I check the 'run as administrator' box. Homeport will run fine once I click 'yes' on the UAC warning. My problem is: When I try to view my files (.ADM from ECHOMAP50s) in Google Earth, I get an error message from Homeport: 'Google Earth is not found - This feature requires Google Earth to be installed.' Obviously I have a working copy of GE on my PC.

I have looked in Options but do not see anything that might help. I would appreciate any pointers.

Yes, you will reinsert in your GPS when done. Actually, you are supposed to make an archival copy of the bluecharts and then use the archival copy. Mess up your original and you are toast. You will load the saved route, which is made up of waypoints, from homeport to your gps via a usb plug.

Also, for around $15 you can download Birdseye view, which is I believe microsofts satellite view product, licensed to garmin, but, essentially, it is google earth, except, you can't have it all. Inkbook V9 0 2 1096 Cracked Pepper. What you can have is a square you pull open by its edges, just big enough for the NCC, and inside that box will be the satellite view, and that will also transfer over to your garmin along with the chart depths from the Bluecharts chip, since it stays in the garmin, now that you have an archival copy.

But, for me, the bluecharts was all I needed all along. The birdseye was not needed. I would have wanted birdseye for the Suwannee river, for a bunch of different rapids. Having run a bunch of the Suwannee river for many years, the locals all know the right way to approach all the rapids in thier area, and the deepest water seems to be revealed on the Suwannee via the satellite view. Then it is well worth it, as you can do waypoints along a route that would guide you right thru the most best way.

I am using the chart chip too but I am keeping it in the GPS. Now, I am on a Mac but this is how I do things. Once the GPS is plugged into the Mac I launch homeport. Initially the standard chart appears that is on the GPS, more a map really. Looking on the left side of the screen there is a menu bar. Microsoft Office 2007 German Torrent Napuniti there. There are several items listed there, a few down is the title of the blue chart.
